Seal-It® 645 EPDM Spraybond is a very high-quality, extremely strong, DCM-free contact adhesive on an SBR-Rubber basis. Suitable for bonding both American and European EPDM to various surfaces, including MDF, chipboard, plywood, OSB and other wood panel materials. Also suitable for bonding insulation board, concrete, masonry, brick and most metals.
Applications
- Very high-quality contact adhesive for bonding both American and European EPDM on all surfaces, including EPS and polystyrene.
- Seal-It 645 is designed for bonding EPDM rubber to itself and various substrates including MDF, particle board, plywood, OSB board and other wood board materials as well as insulation board, concrete, masonry, brick and most metals.
- Due to the high solids and rubber content, this adhesive is extremely strong and safe to use on roofs of garden houses, dormers and large industrial roofs.

Application conditions
- Application temperature (environment and substrate) between + 5°C and + 30°C.
- Attach the hose securely to the spray gun. Attach the other end of the hose to the canister. Make sure the connections are tight. Slowly open the valve completely on the canister, checking for leaks during this process. Release the trigger of the spray gun to start spraying.
- Before use, check compatibility by spraying some adhesive on the substrate. This product could be harmful some substrates.
- Shake and / or mix SEAL-IT® 645 EPDM SPRAYBOND well before use.
- Before applying SEAL-IT® 645 EPDM SPRAYBOND, apply a brush to the substrates to remove loose components.
- Bonding surfaces and other surfaces must be dry, clean, uncontaminated, grease-free, dust-free, compatible and stable.
- Spray SEAL-IT® 645 EPDM SPRAYBOND at a distance of about 10-20 cm at a 90 degree angle to the surface and apply a uniform, even layer of adhesive to obtain 80% to 100% coverage of the surface. If necessary, spray another layer of adhesive where more adhesive appears to be needed.
- Spray both substrates, one surface vertically and the other surface horizontally.
- Let SEAL-IT® 645 EPDM SPRAYBOND air for 1 to 3 minutes until no adhesive sticks to your finger.
- Bond surfaces together and compress with sufficient pressure. A roller is recommended to apply even pressure to achieve maximum strength. Allow the adhesive to fully cure for 24 hours.
- If the nozzle clogs, unscrew the nozzle from the gun and clean it with a solvent such as thinner or acetone. Do not use a pin on the nozzle opening.
