Seal-it® 510 CLEANER is a non-aggressive and effective cleaning agent, for degreasing various surfaces. Specially developed for improved paintability and adhesion of adhesives, sealants, paints, coatings and lacquers.
Applications
- Specially developed to degrease and clean hard and smooth surfaces, such as glass, hard plastics, PCV, acrylic, metals, ceramics, aluminium, concrete, stone, composite and painted surfaces.
- As a primer for greasy surfaces on which sealant, adhesive and/or paint will be applied, to ensure a grease-free surface and optimal adhesion.
- As a degreaser and cleaning product to remove traces of grease and minor surface contamination from sealing joints to ensure a clean sealing joint, from an aesthetic and technical point of view. (paintability)
- Remove adhesive residues from stickers, straps, tape, film and spacers.
- Clean brushes and other tools.
- Remove oil, grease and lubricant residues.
- Remove rubber residues.
- Remove uncured sealant, adhesive, PU foam, paint, lacquer and stain.
Properties

Application conditions
- Application temperature (ambient and surface) between +5°C and +40°C.
- Use a clean cloth to apply Seal-it® 510 CLEANER evenly on the surface, then immediately use a clean lint-free cloth to wipe off the applied Seal-it® 510 Cleaner in the same direction until the surface is completely dry, after which the sealant, adhesive, paint, coating or lacquer can be applied.
- Extracts heat from the surface by evaporation, which cools it off. This may cause condensation on the treated surface. It is recommended to wait approx. 10 min. and then apply sealant or adhesive.
